Job Title: Volunteer Coordinator
Position Reports To: Co-Director Team
Stipend: All positions have a yearly $500 stipend, to be paid in quarterly installments of $125 (March, June, September, December).
Job Purpose: Volunteer Manager is responsible for overseeing the general recruitment and coordination of volunteers for year-round functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a database of year round volunteers.
- Contact and organize volunteers as needed for outreach, marketing, and fundraising events.
- Serve as a liaison between year round volunteers and the Co-Director Team.
- Recruit year round volunteers.
- Work at major fundraising or marketing events, such as the Annual Auction.
Preferred Traits and Skills
Camp Ten Trees is looking for someone who has a positive attitude towards volunteers, donors, and the CTT organization. Proficient in MS Word, Access, and Excel. Possess strong communication and customer service skills. Should have experience in volunteers. Experience in management and/or supervision a plus.
All Year-Round Staff Should Meet The Following Requirements:
- Sensitivity to the LGBT Community.
- Must be accurate and detail oriented; should possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet firm deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced Team environment.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Attend one required meeting per month and be available for additional meetings as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours (minimum of 15 hours per month), as needed by changing needs. (Most jobs can be worked around any general work schedule - days, evenings, weekends, etc.)
- Follow all policies and procedures for year round volunteers.
- Ability to pass a WA State background check.
