Camp Ten Trees is celebrating its 6th Anniversary at this year's Fun-Raiser Dinner and Auction, on April 22, 2006.

Last year, the event was a huge success, as it raised almost $50,000 for youth to attend camp. This year we are expecting 300 guests and have set a goal of helping even more youth attend camp! Please help us meet our goal by making an auction donation!

Camp Ten Trees (CTT) is an overnight summer camp located in Washington State, featuring one week for children of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning (LGBTQ) families and one week for LGBTQ teens. CTT is the only camp in the country with sessions for BOTH of these important populations of youth. Because CTT fills such a critical need, we offer sliding-scale fees to all campers, which allows each youth to pay at a rate suitable to their family's income level; over 80% of campers pay a reduced rate from full tuition. The Annual Fun-Raiser Dinner and Auction raises money that helps CTT continue to guarantee that all youth can attend camp, regardless of ability to pay.

CTT is looking for donation of auction items of all kinds. Travel (including airline tickets, cruise vacations, hotel/B&B stays, and other fun travel items), unique and/or exciting experiences, entertainment, restaurant certificates, home electronics, a location and/or a special meal for a private party, art, gift certificates, and home-made desserts that serve 10 people are especially needed. In general, auction items should be new items or certificates. All donors will have the opportunity to advertise at the Fun-Raiser Auction. Items donated early may be featured in the invitation mailing given to more than 1,000 community supporters. Additionally, donors will be featured in the event catalog, on the bid forms, and on item display plaques. Camp Ten Trees encourages all attendees to support the businesses that donate for this event.
